Nine

Nine was gorgeous, elegant and devious. The story line was sometimes confusing to follow, but I was really there just to see the actors performances and to see how the film looked. I'll admit, I was mesmerized. Daniel Day-Lewis' performance was remarkable and Marion Cotillard was overwhelmingly sensational, yet again. The costumes and sets added so much flair to the film but it was the beauty of the people and the film that fascinated me. So much radiating beauty in every part of it.

Here is the trailer:

This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie with Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day-Lewis:

Christmas

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow :)
... If only it snowed in the desert!
Merry Christmas!

Some recent adventures

Megs and I in Annapolis, Maryland.
Me standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
Look I rode bareback for the first time!
I've been spending a good amount of time up north at my friends little ranch and this is cowgirl version of me.
Megs and I in Washington DC. VERY cold.
Playing in the sculpture gardens.
Beautiful Arizona sunset.
Reid and I bundled up and spent a night looking at stars!
Monsieur Louie Gaston likes his cat food box. He's a very odd little man.
Me being super excited for Christmas tree shopping. My mother however did not share in my merriment.
Washington monument as seen from the Lincoln Memorial.
Driving up to Spring Valley this morning for family breakfast and we spotted this on the road! I thought it would be cool if it was actually filled entirely with coffee. Unfortunately, the boys said I was crazy and it was just an advertisement. Geesh. Way to ruin my childish enthusiasm.

It's Christmas time

It's Christmas time, I love this time of year. It's cold out, it's been raining, good friends I haven't gotten to see in awhile appear and the good times flow. I feel blessed :)
